Rocking Horse Ranch Resort

When we first arrived here, we were very excited. It was a great experience with family of 6. They were very polite. We did all the activities. My favorite had to be the horseback riding. The water park was amazing and the slides were great. Definitely heading back again. Great food. Our waiter Mackenzie was very polite and patient with us. She definitely deserved a tip. If you are heading here, I am gonna tell you your money going into this is very worth it. It’s all inclusive and the dinner menu is great. I will recommend getting Mac n Cheese. The Cheeseburger is ginormous. Something that looks like it would be $20 at a fancy restaurant. The arcade does cost money tho.

Bottom line best Customer Service, and attention to detail…our expectations were high. I left a review initially that I’m not proud of, written in the heat of the moment, I thought our rooms were supposed to be ready by one when it clearly stated that 4:30 is Check in. By the end of the trip though they more than made up for it. Beautiful place with very friendly staff. One of our servers for dinner, Cindy , was one of the friendliest people we ever encountered, actually went to the ATM to get her a bigger tip. Highly recommend this place, not your typical corporate theme park, you feel like you’re part of the family.

First time visitors and was very impressed. Lots of activities and fantastic service - particularly our dinner server Vanessa, she was so helpful, kind and friendly. The evening entertainment was also a hit! Just a few things would have made it even better....walking/hiking trails, and an additional food/snack location to make accessing beverages easier (particularly water) and evening chocolate fixes. Highly recommended!!

So many great activities to keep you going all day. Friendly staff, food offerings were delicious, nightly shows were very entertaining! The trail rides with the horses were great. Very organized! Only negative was the room. Once you enter your room you feel like you’re at a cheap Motel 6. Paper thin walls! No exaggeration! Constant noise above and on the sides of you. If you have inconsiderate families around you like we did you hear them all night!

Generally a nice place. Staff are very nice. Just a magical lack of communication. I guess it's all new staff bc no one knows the answer to anything. I got more info from other guests than staff. But the actual annoying part is the food. They serve up burgers from a gas grill then have cold cheese laying out. When I asked if they could melt the cheese on the burger they said "no the chef doesn't do that". When they asked for almost a thousand dollars a night I should have said my bank account doesn't do that.
