Just came from a weekend camping trip at Molly Stark with the family. It was great. Stayed on site 15 which abuts the open field. It was very sunny at midday but that was when we were out hiking or exploring the area. Morning and afternoon shade are pletiful. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful with recommendations for our explorations. Loop A is very sunny with open campsites and loop B is almost all wooded sites. We loved it so much we are already booking out next trip there.

Cute, clean campground. Small, quiet, family and adult friendly- most campsites are wooded, some in a field. Does get highway traffic but you can also hear wildlife, owls, loons and see the stars at night. Firewood for sale on site. Rangers are attentive and provide great tips, even for rainy days. Day use area has grills and pavilion. Volleyball court.

Quick, easy hike, great view. The trail is marked really well, you'd have to try really hard to get lost. Most kids will do fine but some of the railing on the tower can be dangerous because of open spaces but as long as your kids are old to understand that, it's a treat.

This was a wonderful find through happenstance. We were driving through Vermont and looked at our road atlas and found this place. The campground was lovely, but so was the park. We enjoyed the trail to the top of the mountain where we climb the fire tower and looked out across all creation where I claimed domain of everything I could see.
