This was such a cool experience! We took a tour and the young man giving it was funny and kind. We got to sample cookie dough pieces and a new triple caramel flavor at the end. The gift shop was amazing with lots of cool things to buy and the prices were reasonable. We got ice cream at the scoop shop and it was quite busy. We had to wait 20 minutes but it was worth it. The employees were all really kind and friendly and I loved the vibe here!

I was really excited to visit this factory and we even got lucky and scored an experimental tour of the facility on the day of our visit. The tour was very informative and we had ice cream samples as we went from one room to another. It goes without saying their ice cream was fantastic. I have many fond childhood memories associated with Ben and Jerry’s and it was great to finally see this place. The founders of the company do a lot of good for the world. It’s also funny to see the flavor graveyard. I would definitely recommend to check it out if you’re in Vermont!

My wife and I had an enjoyable visit to the Waterbury, VT ice cream making factory. Loved the graveyard with stones for discontinued flavors, the solar collectors, extensive playscape for kids and beautiful views. Ben & Jerry's has a funky but serious approach to business, embracing social causes like gun control. It helps that their owner, Unilever, has allowed them to have a separate board of directors since their buyout over 20 years ago. It was a rather quick but interesting tour of the ice cream making process with sampling at the end. Well worth the $6/person charge. They also have a Scoop Shop on the premise.

Definitely add this to your bucket list! We stopped after seeing the factory on television. Well worth it! Make sure you visit the Graveyard, as well as take the factory tour - and of course grab some ice cream at the Scoop Shop! An awesome experience and a great stop on our road trip!
