A beautiful museum packed with baseball history. It’s clean and well kept. The docents were very nice and helpful. I recommend taking a break halfway through to get lunch/coffee and going back in because there is a lot to see. I was surprised by the ticket cost, it’s pretty pricey, $28 per adult.

Really nice experience. As a side note, the National Baseball Hall of Fame is located in Cooperstown, NY. Cooperstown is definitely a tourist town with the Hall of Fame being the primary destination. During the off-season (guessing October through March), the town is pretty much deserted save for the locals and aside from the Hall of Fame, there is little else to do. Half of the restaurants/businesses were closed (not sure if seasonal or for good) and good luck getting any food after 10pm. The place is so desolate that I'm pretty certain that on a Wednesday afternoon at 330pm, we were the only ones in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Had a great time! Museum was unbelievable. Surprised how quiet the town is in evening. Restaurants close very early and lots of shops not open late. Stayed at lakefront motel. Clean rooms and their restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was great too.

I don't watch sports like I used to and even when I did, I watched football and basketball more than baseball. Moreover, I grew up outside the US and so didn't grow up with the baseball culture. But even as a relative novice, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The museum does a great job presenting the history, and showcasing all the significant players and events. I came away with a much better understanding of the game, being able to place names and people in the overall timeline and a fuller appreciation for all the accomplishments. Well worth the drive from NYC.
