Great little diversion. Don't skip the little trail above the parking. We went during a thunderstorm warning so the gate to the flood plain was locked. Next time we will know to go when we can explore that area. Lots of herons out there visible from the trail. Be prepared to climb a very long stairway with no wheelchair access if you want to get close to the plains

Very nice. Opens May 1st. About a month ago before it opened the falls were MASSIVE with the Spring flood stage rainfall that we received. But it is a very pretty park.

Very peaceful and relaxing. You can also rent the cdphp bikes around the area and go for a bike ride. This is a nice place to take a break from work or something to do early in the morning before you start your day. I would come here to read books all the time.

A very nice waterfalls with 30 minutes from Albany. The falls are very beautiful during the fall. Must visit if you live in the capital region.
