Throughly disappointed with how the park has changed over the years. it's been 15 years since I've gone and wish I would have kept it that way. Six flags ruined what was a great park everything that made the great escape what it was has either been taken away or stripped down. Not to mention most of the rides including the waters rides are never open. Those who remember the jungle trek that's in what's now timbertown hasn't been open in a long time so much money spent with very little to enjoy. The food is terrible as well if I could negative for a review I would.

Showed up at 12:00 pm. Wanted lunch. No place was serving lunch. Went to johnnie rockets for lunch. So went back to six flags. 5:30pm. Wanted a steak sandwich. No glutten free options available. Ok no biggies. No bun, no big deal. Salt and pepper? No the place has none. Go to a different restaurant. Are you kidding me you sell nasty food and no condiments really. ½ naked people walking around. Flying insects everywhere. My experience here was sad. Very disappointing to me. Staff is incredibly rude too. I'll go somewhere else.

First time going to Great Escape Waterpark and it wasn’t bad but can be improved. This waterpark is smaller and has fewer thrilling rides and fewer dining options compared to the other six flags waterparks. If your kids are at least 48” then they can go on many of the rides. The wave pool was fun and waves came frequently but it only goes up to 5 feet. The lazy river was fun and relaxing, but not enough tubes so had to wait for people to get off. They don’t have a pool for older kids to play in but a few kiddie pools and splash pads. Wait times were not bad since it wasn’t crowded. I disliked that the waterpark is separated into different areas and you need to walk up and down a hill-like road to get to it. It makes walking with kids especially harder and more tiring. Also, they only have one bathroom location which is the changing station as well located near the kiddie pool area. Need more bathrooms! Hours are short as well opening from noon to 5:30 pm. My kids did have fun here and wouldn’t mind returning.
